Why does REVIAN use LEDs and not lasers?
Revian uses 119 specific wavelengths of LEDs. They were selected based on extensive pre-clinical research that showed the precision wavelength that we want to trigger the mechanisms of action in the cells.
Revian’s patent-pending combination of dual color light activates more biological changes in the cells to renew their vitality. Most laser-based products use a generic red wavelength around 660nm that is not as effective by itself.
Additionally, LEDs emit energy at a much wider angle, bathing the scalp in overlapping cones of light. Laser products are much more tightly focused and only target discrete spots on your scalp. We’ve proven that our LED light penetrates the skin fully to the needed levels to affect the cells, but with more complete coverage compared to laser diodes. You’ll find Revian’s competitors offer higher-priced models with higher quantities of laser diodes that still do not offer the same level of complete coverage as the Revian Red system.
Why does Revian use 119 LEDs?
Revian uses 119 high-precision LEDs based on extensive engineering testing to establish full scalp coverage using a proprietary lenticular lens. This ensures that light is spread evenly across your scalp to deliver the optimal treatment as ...
How many lasers does the Revian Red system have?
Precise LED vs Laser - Revian only uses precision LEDs (119 in total) for a couple reasons: We use them primarily because we can dial in the precise nanometer of wavelength that we want to actually trigger the mechanisms of action in the cells. Our ...
How Often Should I Use Revian?
The Revian Red system is used for 10 minutes per day Our team of Revian scientists worked closely with our light engineers to come up with a system that was clinically proven to grow hair for most people if they stick to the recommended regimen of ...
Will Revian hurt or damage my eyes?
Understandably, considering most other red light hair growth devices use some number of lasers, users and potential users of the Revian Red system may have concerns about damaging their eyes. Please note that Revian does not use lasers. Rather, the ...
How does the Revian Red system compare to Theradome?
The Revian System is a wireless LED Smart Cap and digital app. Unlike Theradome, Revian only uses precision LEDs (119 in total) that have never before been used in a hair growth device for a couple reasons. We use them primarily because we can dial ...
